Odds and Ends

We are in the process of developing a sister website for the purpose of encouraging people and ministering to those who have suffered from broken lives. The focus of this site will be the power of our Healing God and the miracles that He continues to do even today. In addition, a Bible Study with Pastor Ken Delgado will be featured. Uplifting stories do a heart good when there is so much negativity going on in this world.

In the meantime...

Kids-Quotes

  • Preston, when he's having a tough time emotionally:
    "My tummy is all moody."
  • Preston, when asked why he didn't tell on a kid who punched him during recess in school:
"I don't like to waste my free time by tattling."
  • Melissa, trying to explain what it's like when we don't have faith in God's promises:
"Dad? Can we go to the park?"
"Sure, honey - we'll go today."
"No... I don't think we are going to go to the park. I know we're not going. You say we are, but I know that we are not."

"Dad? Why are you putting your shoes on?"
"I'm getting ready to take you to the park."
"No. I know we're not going to the park today. I wish we could go, but I know that we won't."

"Dad? Where are we walking to?"
"The park. We're going to the park. You said that you wanted to go to the park, so like a good Daddy, I'm taking you."
"No. I know we're not going there today. You say we are going, but I know we're not. We'll never go to the park. Can we please go to the park, Dad??"
